Selwyn Marchetti
Tiefling, Cartographer's apprentice
Calm and precise beyond her years, unnervingly steady eye contact, drops into protective sharpness if her sibling is threatened.
The Map Isn't the Prize. She wants protection for her sibling while she deals with hunters chasing the map, not realizing they actually want him.
What the Ritual Site Holds. She wants the site on the map destroyed or sealed before anyone learns what her sibling truly is.
Appearance
Barely an adult, unsettlingly beautiful in a way that makes people look twice then look away, comfortable clothes hiding a hand-drawn map sewn into her coat lining.
Secret
The map marks the location of a buried ritual site tied to her sibling's true, dangerous heritage — the very thing their hunters are after isn't the map, it's the boy.
Quirks
Redraws the same map fragment from memory obsessively
Never lets her coat out of arm's reach
Personality traits
Preternaturally composed
Fiercely protective
Ideal
Family is worth more than any secret, even one this dangerous.
Bond
Her younger sibling is being hunted by whoever wants the map, and she'll trade anything to keep them safe.
Flaw
Her competence makes her overconfident that she can handle the danger alone.
